FIRST GENERATION

1. Reverend Henry ALDRED Sr. (1)(2) (3) was born about 1540 in Norwich, Norfolk, England. He died in 1593 in Worstead, Norfolk, England. He was the first of the Aldred/Aldridge/Aldrich family to appear in Worstead records; he became Vicar there in 1553 following the dissolution of the priory of Bromholm when the manor belonging to the priory, the rectory, and the patronage of the vicarage were granted to the dean and chapter of Norwich.

He was married to Elizabeth. Reverend Henry ALDRED Sr. and Elizabeth had the following children:

child+4 iii. Reverend Henry ALDRED Jr..
