We are a group of about 100 researchers of the ALDRIDGE family surname and its derivatives (ALLRED, ALDRED, ALDRICH, ARLEDGE, and others). We share information through an "email discussion group", which operates similarly to a bulletin board. Subscribers send their queries, comments, and discoveries to a single email address, where it "explodes" and is sent to everyone on the list.
