Audio Track. Isaac ARLEDGE, the ancestor of several of us, was made a ward and apprentice to John CALLAHAN. John had the best of intentions and when Isaac's active mind often wandered, he had to gently correct his ward to help him focus on the task at hand. I found this old recording of one of John's gentle exhortations and decided to share it with you. (about 2-min wait the first time)

Note:

Give the audio files 2-5 minutes to download the first time. You should see a gray "netscape" box appear the first time you click on the link, and it doesn't seem to do anything. Just wait for a few minutes and it will start playing the .wav file. A little "replay" button will appear in the little gray box. On subsequent clicks on the audio file link, your browser will pull the file in from cache and it will be much quicker.
